Your Role as a Social Media Manager
As the Social Media Manager at Amazon, you will play a critical role in shaping our online presence and brand voice. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for strategizing, creating, posting, and overseeing content across all social media platforms. You will leverage data analytics to make informed decisions, engage with our audience, and strengthen our community across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and community engagement.
Create, curate, and manage published content across all social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Monitor social media trends, adapting strategies to align with the latest market developments.
Analyze performance metrics to evaluate the impact of campaigns and improve future initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer service to align messaging and initiatives.
Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets to optimize ROI.
Engage with followers and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner to enhance customer experience.
Develop and oversee a content calendar to maintain a consistent online presence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in social media management or a similar role, preferably with a focus on e-commerce.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their functionalities, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
A creative mindset with a keen eye for design and the ability to think outside the box.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
